Created for sam's dream themes digital editing company, I started by drawing or tracing over a photo of an animal with clean lines. Afterwards, I would draw on the solid white sections, then use the smudge tool to create the swirls and swoop patterns. I would then add a glow to the layers, then place and blend smoke overlays around the subject.
