This art took me the longest out of anything I’ve ever created. These labels were created for an assignment to create a fictitious craft beer company and the label designs of 3 flavours of beer. Inspired by wizards of the coast's dungeons and dragons, Each fully rendered piece took me 6-8 hours not including the banners and text. I started with a sketch, then base colours and secondary colours (mostly markings and horns). After that, I rendered each piece, using 10+ layers total for each, drawing in the texturing on the scales, the shading and highlights, and of course the elemental breaths and particle effects. After the art was completed, I added in the banners and text.
